Summary Customs Inspector was severely injured when a bullet hit his head during the firing.

HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – 50 year old Customs Inspector Abdul Ghaffar Sheikh Saturday was shot dead by drug dealers during a raid by the Customs officials in Market Tower area of Hyderabad. The officials were conducting action against the sale of foreign Gutka. The team recovered large amounts of Gutka from the perpetrators.

According to Customs sources, the team attempted to arrest 3 drug dealers during the raid upon which the suspects opened indiscriminate fire on the officials and fled the scene.

The Customs Inspector was severely injured when a bullet hit his head during the firing and succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
