KARACHI (Dunya News) – Local court in Karachi on Monday has sent suspect Ghulam Rubbani to jail on a 14-day judicial remand for killing mother.
According to details, Boat Basin police presented the culprit in judicial magistrate South court. The investigation officer told the court that Ghulam Rubbani’s sister alleged him of murdering his mother.
He said that suspect’s sister has been named as eye witnessed in the case whose statement will be soon recorded.
The court has directed the officer to submit case challan in next hearing.
It is pertinent to mention here that criminal Ghulam Rubbani first confessed to have killed his mother over an unresolved conflict between mother and sister related to the division of property within the family in Boat Basin area of Karachi and retracted from the statement afterwards.
He stated that he came to know that his mother lost her life while resisting dacoity bid.
