MULTAN (Dunya News) – A local tailor in Multan succumbed to injuries after neighbors opened fire at him for lodging case of stealing dog worth Rs 8 lac, reported on Monday.

According to details, tailor Abid was attacked by neighbors Umar Daraz, Irfan and Ashraf for registering case of dognapping against them. The suspects opened fire at Abid and fled the scene after cutting his right leg.

The victim was taken to Nishtar Hospital in a critical condition for medical assistance where he succumbed to injuries after 16 hours.

The officers have filed an FIR against the criminal over the bereaved family’s protest however, no detention has been made so far in this regard.
