LAHORE (Dunya News) – Post mortem of both policemen who were gunned down by unknown armed men in Lahore has completed, reported on Thursday.
According to the report, the cops lost their lives after bearing bullets on chest while a case has also been registered at counter-terrorism force (CTF) police station.
Earlier, unknown assailants on late Wednesday night had gunned down two police officers in Lahore’s Iqbal Town Neelum Block area near Number 3 bus stop.
As per details, unidentified armed assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on officers standing at a barricade and fled the scene.
The two officers, Asif and Mubashar, were critically wounded by the firing and were immediately shifted to Jinnah hospital where both succumbed to their injuries.
According to Deputy Inspector-General (DIG) Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf, one of the policemen who lost his life was a resident of Pasrur while the other was a resident of Ichra area of Lahore.
