LAHORE (Dunya News) –Lahore police on Saturday apprehended as many as two suspects for stealing the expensive cars and asking extortion from the owners.
According to details, the suspects identified as Muhammad Ali and Fiaz Ullah were involved in robbery bids and other heinous crimes however, ten cars and two motorbikes were also confiscated from their possession.
The officers stated that the suspects were named in 17 cases which were filed in Rawalpindi, Sialkot and Lahore.
Moreover, interrogation is underway from the arrested criminals.
Earlier, police arrested 40 suspicious people during a search operation in Peshawar’s Regi and Safaid Sung areas.
According to Senior Superintendet of Police (SP) Cantt Peshawar, the apprehended individuals also include nine Afghanis. Four Sub Machine Guns (SMG), two pistols, three other hand guns and five cartridges were recovered from the arrested suspects.
