ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday has foiled a smuggle bid worth crores of Rupees from Rawalpindi to Doha.

A passenger named Shahid was detained on suspicion at the Benazir International Airport. As the personnel riffled through his bags, one Kilogram (Kg) Heroine was seized from his possession.

During interrogation, the culprit also revealed that there were as many as 800 heroin capsules in his stomach.

Shahid belongs to Charsadda District and was trying to smuggle the narcotics to Doha.

Earlier on December 22, 2015, the ANF had foiled an attempt of smuggling heroin worth millions to Saudi Arabia at Benazir International Airport.

Security officers stopped a Kotli native identified as Fazal Daad for checking at the counter after which the personnel confiscated one kilogram of high quality heroin worth millions from the hand bag of the suspect.

According to ANF, the criminal was scheduled to travel Saudi Arabia via Islamabad.
