Robbers loot rickshaw driver, injure two students in Multan

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Armed robbers in Jalalpur Peer Wala area of Multan on Monday robbed a Rickshaw driver and injured two students sitting in the vehicle.

According to details, the driver Imtiaz Hussain was taking the children to school when two robbers on a motorcycle stopped them and robbed him on gunpoint.

The children started to scream on which the robbers opened fire on them as a result of which 10-year-old Ali and 11-year-old Saifullah got severely injured on getting shot in the legs.

The robbers escaped immediately after the incident.

The parents of the children reached the scene on getting information of the incident and shifted the wounded to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital under self-help where doctors have stated that the condition of the children is out of danger.

Neither a case has been registered yet nor any arrest has been made as the related Station House Officer (SHO) is on leave.

Local residents stated that the robbers also robbed off two other citizens namely Mukhtar Ahmad and Talib Husnain while placing barricades on the road.
