Summary Police has claimed that they have initiated legal action on the woman's plea.
MULTAN (Dunya News) – Multan police on Saturday arrested a woman who attempted self-harm when the police officials refused to register a property case against her brothers.
According to details, the woman named Uzma is a resident of Muzaffarabad and was denied a part in the property by her brothers.
Besides this she was also expelled from the house.
The woman approached City Police Officer (CPO) and Regional Police Officer (RPO) and requested them to register a case against her brothers but neither of them put a heed to it on which Uzma reached courthouse and tried to set herself on fire.
Her attempt was foiled by the lawyers however; the police took her into their custody and shifted her to Chehlyak police station.
The woman has stated that she is languishing on the streets for several days after being abandoned by her brothers whereas police has claimed that they have initiated legal action on the woman’s plea.
