LAHORE (Dunya News) – Three masked robbers on Monday robbed post office staff of Rs10 lac and injured two of them on Lahore’s Multan Road.
According to details, Shujabad’s post office staff was taking the pension money to a nearby town Sakinabad when unidentified masked men tried to rob them of the money.
The staff resisted to the attack on which the robbers opened fire and injured two people namely Arshad and Saleem.
The robbers however escaped after looting the money.
Police reached the scene on getting information and shifted the injured first to district headquarter (DHQ) hospital and then to Nishtar hospital as their condition worsened with time.
Police have initiated probe of the incident.
