LAYYAH (Dunya News) – In-laws of a newly wedded girl unleashed dogs on her for asking her husband’s share in the property on Saturday, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, 21-year old Asma Bibi, resident of Karor Lal Esan area of Layyah, was left severely wounded when her husband’s father and brother unleashed dogs on her as she asked for her husband’s share in the property. The father and brother in law first tortured the girl and then unleashed dogs on her. The girl had been shifted to the District Hospital Layyah for medical aid.

A woman who had been burnt by in-laws for visiting her parent’s home succumbed to her injuries on Thursday. Police has arrested 4 persons including husband, reports Dunya News.

The woman, identified as Nisbah, had been set on fire by her husband, mother-in-law and brother-in-law after the women made the ‘grave error’ of visiting her parent’s home. The woman was transferred in critical condition to Nishtar Hospital where she struggled for her life for 2 days before succumbing to her injuries.

Police arrested the woman s husband, Nasser, mother, brother and filed case against them. The woman s family has demanded strict action against the accused.
