JAMPUR (Online): At least two government employees were killed and another injured when a annoyed employee of District Zakat office in Rajanpur, for delay in salary, officials said on Wednesday.
According to local police, the accused opened fire in office as his salary had not been paid for five months. The police said that the accused, who managed to flee after the killings, wanted his due salaries be paid.
Police rushed to the scene soon after incident took place. Injured man was shifted to hospital where his condition was reportedly out of danger.
Dead bodies were also transferred to District Headquarter Hospital for autopsy and other legal formalities.
