FAISALABAD (Web Desk) - A woman with burn wounds was brought to the hospital in critical condition when her husband allegedly set her on fire in Faisalabad.
According to rescue sources, man named Muhammad Jameel burnt his wife after splashing petrol on her over a domestic issue in Madina Town area. As a result, woman named Ishrat Bibi was severely injured and was shifted to Allied Hospital in critical condition.
Police arrested the accused after the incident and in a statement, he claimed that he did not burn his wife instead Ishrat Bibi committed the act herself.
