Summary Four people including two women were gunned down for ‘honour’ in Rojhan on Saturday.
Rojhan: Paternal cousins killed Sofia Bibi and Saleem at Achabangla in the suburb of Rojhan. Police have arrested both of the accused and further investigation is underway.
Following the incident, police reached the site of occurrence and shifted the bodies to nearby hospital for legal formalities. So far as the accused Munir and Nihal are concerned, they have been arrested.
The second incident occurred in the area of Shahwali where another woman has fallen prey to the honour killing as a man shot dead his daughter allegedly over suspicious character declaring her ‘Kari’. Later a youth named Zahid was also gunned down under suspicion.
The accused father mercilessly and ruthlessly threw his daughter’s corpse in the river and escaped from the scene.
Police have registered case against accused and further investigation is underway.
