(Web Desk) – The outgoing year 2025 has proven to be a year of improvement and transformation for Pakistan’s T20 cricket team with a significant surge in its power-hitting compared to previous year.

Embracing modern day cricket and aggressive style of play, the team played 34 T20 matches, during which they faced 3872 balls and hit 235 sixes. This means that on average, the team hit a six every 16 balls, or approximately seven sixes per match.

This marks a noticeable improvement from the previous year, when Pakistan hit only 152 sixes in 27 matches. In 2024, their average was a six every 19 balls, with fewer than six sixes per match.

The shift in Pakistan’s T20 approach is evident when comparing the figures from 2024 to 2025, highlighting a more aggressive and attacking strategy.

The team’s performance also reflects the tactical input of head coach Mike Hesson, whose leadership has clearly influenced the team’s evolving mindset.

Out of 34 T20 matches played in 2025, Pakistan won 21, further underlining their progress in the format.
