Whatmore quits as KKR coach

Whatmore is the front runner for Pakistan coach position, and cited the reason of his resignation to pursue an international role.Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on December 25 said it has invited former World Cup winning Sri Lanka coach Dav Whatmore to discuss his appointment as head coach of the national team.The Knight Riders have also supported his desire to coach a national team again.We have been most supportive of Dav s keen interest in pursuing an international coaching role and wish him the very best, Venky Mysore, the chief executive of the Knight Riders, said.
