Overnight batsman Mohammad Shahzad (42) and Mohammad Nabi (117) fell early and apart from Asghar Stanikzais 41, the batsmen failed to make an impression as Afghanistan ended with 328 in 112.4 overs.Given a lead of 134 runs, the UAE came out strong with Bakthiyar Palekar (61) leading the charge. Swapnil Patil (74) and Palekar added 75 runs for the third wicket to revive the innings.
