Off spinner Nathan Lyon bagged a five-wicket haul in his Australia debut to help skittle Sri Lanka for 105 in its first innings on the second day Thursday of the first cricket test.Seamer Shane Watson struck three times in nine deliveries to trigger a collapse, as the hosts lost their last seven wickets for 18 runs at Galle International Stadium.Lyon took the wickets of Kumar Sangakkara, Anjelo Mathews, Suraj Randiv, Rangana Herath and last man Chanaka Welegedara to finish with 5-34. Watson had impressive figures of 3-11.Sri Lanka started its first innings on Thursday and Australias debutants Lyon and seamer Trent Copeland took their maiden wickets with their first and second deliveries respectively.Captain Tillakaratne Dilshan (4) was out in the second over, with Ricky Ponting taking a sharp, low catch at short extra cover off the bowling of Copeland.Sangakkara (10) was next to go, edging a delivery from Lyon to Australia captain Michael Clarke at slip. Mahela Jayawardene was then run out for 11.Sri Lanka, struggling on 54-3 at lunch, made a shaky start to the second session when opener Tharanga Paranavitana luckily survived after being adjudged lbw to seamer Mitchell Johnson. Video review confirmed Johnson delivered a no-ball.Paranavitana and Thilan Samaraweera combined for the best partnership of the innings, 43 runs off 104 balls.Watson, bowling the 41st over, trapped Samaraweera and Prasanna Jayawardene lbw four deliveries apart and returned in his next over to dismiss Paranavitana (29) lbw.
