Summary Pakistan beat England by 8 wickets to qualify for the semifinals of the Lawyers Cricket World Cup.
Batting first, England managed 73 runs for the loss of nine wickets in a rain-affected day in the Lawyers Cricket World Cup quarterfinal match played in Barbados. Mahmood grabbed three wicket for Pakistan while, Farooq and Abdullah chipped in with one wicket each.In reply, Pakistan achieved the target in the eleventh over for the loss of only two wickets. Abdullah was top scorer with 38 runs. Pakistan’s opponents in the semifinals will be finalised after today’s matches.
