Summary Kings defeated Sultans by 63 runs.

(Dunya News) – Shahid Afridi ripped through batting line of Multan Sultans as the 37-year-old leg spinner picked three important wickets by just giving 18 runs in the allotted four overs. In reply to massive 188, Sultans managed only 125 runs in 20 overs.

Batting first, Karachi Kings scored 188 runs at the cost of just three wickets. Denly remained top scorer with 78 runs while Babar Azam also made 58 runs on just 39 delivers. Both added 118 runs for the second wicket.

Later, a brilliant cameo from Ingram lifted Kings to 188.


Sultans innings


Sultans started their innings confidently. Openers Sangkara and Shehzad added 41 runs for the opening wicket. After fall of first wicket, no other batsman managed to stay on the crease longer. Afridi picked three wickets while Irfan junior picket two.

In the end Sultans managed to make only 110 runs and were defeated by 78 runs.
