LAHORE (Dunya News) – After the three consecutive losses against New Zealand, the selection committee of the Pakistan cricket team has decided to drop two senior top order batsmen from the playing XI.

Mohammad Hafeez and Azhar Ali are likely to be dropped for the fourth one-day match. The senior batsmen will be replaced by young talents including Imam-ul-Haq and Harris Sohail.

Despite poor run in the series, the Pakistani side will retain all-rounder Shoaib Malik and give him another chance to prove his mettle in the away tour.

According to reports, the green shirts will play with a different opening pair. Fakhar Zaman will be joined by young Imam-ul-Haq who scored century on his debut match against Sri Lanka.

Ross Taylor will be playing his 200th game in the ODI career. Kiwis have already won the five-match series by 3-0.

The fourth match between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played at Hamilton on Tuesday (Jan 16). Viewers across the country can watch the match at 6am PKT.
