NELSON (Dunya News) – Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan said the team lost a golden opportunity in the second one-day international (ODI) against New Zealand in Nelson to square the series.

The 19-year-old seemed disappointed over Pakistan’s loss in the match. He admitted after the match that the Green Shirts made mistakes at some key points, and said New Zealand took advantage of their home conditions.

Shadab Khan, who scored a fifty, said while answering a question that he was trying to score as many runs as he could to take Pakistan to a reasonable total. He told that he does regular batting practice during the net sessions.

The leg-spinner was hopeful that Pakistan will make a comeback by displaying good cricket as the series is still alive and three matches are left.
