LAHORE (Dunya News) - Rumman Raees got Dickwella with an away swinger. Chandimal and skipper Tharanga at the crease. 

Pakistan set Sri Lanka 293 to win after being sent into bat in the first one-day international in Dubai on Friday.

Babar Azam top-scored in Pakistan s total of 292-6 with an excellent 103, while Shoaib Malik scored a rapid 61-ball 81 during their 139-run fourth-wicket stand.

Sri Lanka fast bowler Suranga Lakmal took 2-47.

Earlier, Sri Lankan captain Upul Tharanga won the toss and sent Pakistan into bat in the first day-night international in Dubai on Friday.

Sri Lanka, who won the preceding two-match Test series 2-0, had spearhead Nuwan Perera ruled out from the one-day series with a hamstring injury and inducted Lahiru Gamage.

The remaining matches will be held in Abu Dhabi (October 16 and 18) and in Sharjah (October 20 and 23).

Three Twenty20 internationals will follow the ODIs, the last in Lahore on October 29.
