DUBAI (Dunya News) – Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali is likely to miss second Sri Lanka Test, scheduled from October 6 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, due to back pain that he suffered during first match in Abu Dhabi.
Left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz is expected to replace injured Hasan Ali in the second and final Test of the series which will be a day-night encounter. Pakistan team will start their practice sessions under lights tonight in Dubai.
It is worth mentioning here that Sri Lanka beat Pakistan in the first match by 21 runs as the Green Caps failed to chase a meagre but tricky target of 136 runs on fifth day, and were bowled out for 114.
Pakistan have to conquer the Islanders in the last battle to save the two-match series. On the other hand, pressure will not be on Sri Lanka as they cannot lose the trophy having already a victory in their bag.
