(Web Desk) – Former South African bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe has been suspended on Sunday from participating in any cricket event in any capacity after charged with match-fixing.
Tsotsobe, who is 33-year-old has played 61 ODIs, five Tests and 23 T20Is for South Africa. He is said to have violated Cricket South Africa anti-corruption code after an investigation into 2015 Ram Slam competition.
There are six other cricketers charged in the probe and resultantly banned.
Though the player has not professionally played cricket for at least a year, he now is barred from participating in events.
