LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Former International Cricket Council (ICC) president Zaheer Abbas, also known as Asian Bradman, has wished to become Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman, Roznama Dunya reported on Thursday.
According to details, Zaheer Abbas said he would take this responsibility for betterment of cricket if Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif offers him to become the chairman.
Zaheer Abbas further added that Pakistan’s victory in first Test against West Indies is a welcoming sign. He said Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq are like a light in the team. Substitute of every player comes, and it will be very good if Pakistan find the replacements of these two legends soon, he continued.
Talking about spot-fixing, the Asian Bradman said that players corrupt the game in order to become rich overnight.
It is worth mentioning here that Zaheer Abbas is currently the Head of Cricket Academies in Sports Board Punjab.
