ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former pacer Wasim Akram expressed discontent with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He said that the board lacked planning and a journalist was running all cricket-related affairs of which he had no clue at all.
Veteran fast bowler said, “PCB lacks strategic planning. A journalist is running all affairs in the board regarding cricket who knows nothing about the sport.”
While addressing the business conference, Wasim Akram blamed the structure of first-class cricket and said that it was not able to produce quality batsmen. "There s no planning by PCB and decisions are made over a phone call," he added.
He told that he was ready to suggest tips to the newly made ODI captain Sarfaraz Ahmed if the board decides to summon him. “I cannot stand outside the board with a placard,” he said.
