LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced to host a farewell ceremony in honor of Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq who declared his retirement on Thursday, reported Roznama Dunya.

PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan talked to media at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and appreciated Misbah’s timely decision. The chief further told that the farewell ceremony will be held after West Indies series, which will be Misbah’s last.

Shahryar Khan acknowledged the Test captain’s services to Pakistan and also announced to give him an award in the function. “Misbah brought honor to Pakistan cricket, and people in Pakistan as well as abroad acknowledge this fact,” added Shahryar.

PCB chairman said that young players should follow Misbah’s footsteps and make Pakistan proud like he did.
