LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has on Sunday taken action on the report by Dunya News regarding the violation of rules in domestic cricket by two of the players. Taking action, PCB has banned both Hayatullah and Adil Akram, reported Dunya News.
Candyland had played two players from other teams in Patrons Trophy Grade-II, in blatant violation of the rules. PCB officials initially stayed quiet but took action after Dunya News highlighted the issue.
Both Hayatullah and Adil Akram have been banned for one year each. Candyland, under the captaincy of Test player Umar Akmal, may also be relegated from the tournament due to the same violation.
