HONG KONG (Dunya News) – Two-time Twenty20 World Cup (WC) winning captain Darren Sammy has said in his statement that he is available for West Indies team in the shorter formats of the game in series against Pakistan, reported Dunya News on Wednesday.

The former West Indian skipper said that he has taken retirement from Test cricket only, and is still available for the one-day internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20s for the national squad.

Sammy added that it is in the hands of Caribbean selectors whether to pick him or not, but he wishes to represent his country once again in series against Pakistan.

Darren Sammy was recently in action in Hong Kong T20 Blitz and Pakistan Super League (PSL). He was also the skipper of Peshawar Zalmi in PSL and took his side to victory in the second edition of the league that was played in Dubai, Sharjah and Lahore.
