Summary Babar Azam is the only batsman from Pakistan who is in list of top ten batsmen.

DUBAI (Dunya News) – South African batting maestro AB de Villiers has snatched first position from Aussie opener David Warner in International Cricket Council (ICC) one-day international (ODI) batting rankings, reported Dunya News.

As per details, de Villiers is ranked first with 875 rating points whereas David Warner has slipped to second spot with 871 points. India’s Virat Kohli is at number three with 852 points.

Babar Azam is the only batsman from Pakistan who is in list of top ten batsmen and is ranked ninth with 733 points. England’s Test captain Joe Root has jumped four places to claim fourth spot and South Africa’s Hashim Amla is out of top ten list after slipping down five places.



South Africa’s Imran Tahir tops the bowling chart with 750 rating points. West Indies’ Sunil Narine and Australia’s Mitchell Starc are at second and third places respectively with 700 points each.

No Pakistan bowler is in list of top ten as the highest ranked bowler from Pakistan is Mohammad Irfan who holds eighteenth spot in the rankings. England’s Adil Rashid has also gone out of top ten bowlers.


Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan tops the all-rounders rankings with 377 rating points followed by Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi and Sri Lanka’s Angelo Mathews. Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez is ranked fourth with 312 points.




South Africa hold the top spot with 119 rating points in ODI team rankings followed by Australia (118), New Zealand (113), India (112), England (108), Sri Lanka (98), Bangladesh (91), Pakistan (89), West Indies (84) and Afghanistan (53).
