Summary The Under-23 teams of the two countries will be playing each other in Bangladesh soon
LAHORE: (web Desk) – Pakistan and India cricket teams are going to play each other in Bangladesh come March as Asian Cricket Committee on Thursday authorised a One-Day tournament, the Emerging Trophy.
According to details, Pakistan and Indian Under-23 teams will go head-to-head next month in Bangladesh. However, it’s not just the Under-23 players who are going to play this tournament. All the teams are allowed to play four national players as well. And these four players can be of any age.
The tournament will feature Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, UAE, Hong Kong and Nepal. The 11-day tournament starting from March 15 will be played at Cox’s Bazaar, Bangladesh.
When asked, MV Sridhar said that it is not a bilateral series between India and Pakistan and India would be playing Pakistan in ACC tournaments since they were sanctioned by the Asian cricket body.
