Summary Australia have won the toss and decided to bowl first in the 3rd ODI against Pakistan.

PERTH (Dunya News) – Australian captain Steve Smith has won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first in the third ODI on Wednesday at the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) ground in Perth, Dunya News reported.

Pakistan made no change in the squad that beat the hosts by six wickets in the second ODI at Melbourne on January 15.

Australia have made two changes to the XI that lost in Melbourne on Sunday, with Mitchell Starc (rested) and Mitchell Marsh (injury) omitted for ODI debutant Peter Handscomb and towering fast bowler Billy Stanlake.

WACA is the only ground in Australia where Pakistan have won more ODIs than they ve lost against Australia. Their last win at this ground came in 2005, and the other three wins (out of six ODIs in total) in a different era altogether. They will bank on Mickey Arthur s inputs to tackle the hosts here. He was once coach of Western Australia and will be familiar with the feel of the venue.

Pakistan: Hafeez (capt), Sharjeel, Babar, Shafiq, Malik, Akmal, Rizwan (wk), Wasim, Amir, Hasan, Junaid.

Australia: Warner, Khawaja, Smith (capt), Head, Handscomb, Maxwell, Wade (wk), Faulkner, Cummins, Hazlewood, Stanlake.
