Summary Mohammad Hafeez will lead Pakistan as they go head to head with Aussies following Azhar Ali's injury

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The green shirts are all set to face Australian cricket team in Melbourne for the second ODI on January 15.

As an insult to injury, team Pakistan, which is already down to 1-0 in ODIs at Australia tour, will miss captain Azhar Ali who has been ruled out for next two ODIs because of a hamstring injury and vice captain Sarfraz Ahmed who flew back home due to personal reasons.

Mohammad Hafeez has been named as the captain of Pakistani side. Moreover, the experienced Shoaib Malik is expected to be included in the playing eleven after passing fitness test as he has been feeling sick lately.

Australia had earlier won the Test at Gabba which became a one-sided match as Pakistan lost by 92 runs. Furthermore, Pakistan has lost 21 matches in the last 22 matches on Australian soil.
