NELSON (AFP) - Bangladesh won the toss and put New Zealand into bat in the second one-day international at Saxton Oval in Nelson on Thursday.
Captain Mashrafe Mortaza said the overhead cloud and green tinge to the wicket should assist his side.
"In the morning something can happen," he said of the Nelson wicket which has a reputation for being flat.
New Zealand, who won the first ODI by 77 runs, would also have bowled first, captain Kane Williamson said.
Bangladesh have made three changes: debutant Nurul Hasan is in for injured wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim; Tanvir Hayder replaces Soumya Sarkar; and Subashish Roy comes in for Mustafizur Rahman.
The New Zealand side is unchanged.
