LAHORE (Dunya News) – Cricket legends continue to praise Pakistan cricket team’s effort in the first, day-night Test match against Australia. Though the team lost, fans as well as cricket lovers all over the globe have admired the way Pakistan played in the second innings of the match.



In a tweet, Imran Khan said that credit for the brilliant fight back goes to the ‘gutsy’ Asad Shafiq while there is no shame but pride in losing when the players fight to the last ball.

Former pacer and ‘Sultan of Swing’ Wasim Akram admitted that he had never seen Pakistan perform that well in Australia.



Former Australian captain Michael Clarke as far as to declare Asad Shafiq as one of the world class batsmen. Moreover, Indian cricket analyst and commentator Akash Chopra also couldn’t resist admiring the exciting game play by green shirts. He wrote, “Well Played Pakistan.”



While Graeme Swann was also keeping track of the thrilling match between Pakistan and Australia. The English off-spinner claimed Australia to be the best team that won but confessed love for the men in green.
