Salman Butt was banned for spot fixing in 2010 and scored twin centuries in Quaid-e-Azam trophy final earlier this month. Muhammad Amir was also banned with Butt but he has already represented Pakistan in all three formats after serving the ban.
Waqar Younis said that Butt has served the ban so he deserves a chance. Salman Butt had helped WAPDA in winning the trophy with his fabulous performance in the final.
