JOHANNESBURG (Web Desk) – A strange record was made in South Africa women’s under-19 Twenty20 match that was being played between Mpumalanga and Easterns in Pretoria.

Shania-Lee Swart from Mpumalanga opened the innings and carried her bat scoring 160 runs off 86 balls. But that is not the strange part. The odd thing about her innings was that she was the only batter from her side to score. All the other team mates failed to score even a single run and scored ducks.

Swart completed this herculean effort with the help of 18 fours and 12 sixes.

Mpumalanga’s total after 20 overs was 169 in which 160 runs were scored by Shania-Lee Swart and 9 runs were given as extras by Easterns.
Swart’s score of 160 is highest ever by any individual in international Twenty20 history.
