LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to appoint former all-rounder Azhar Mahmood as team’s bowling coach however, an official announcement would be made in few days.
The coach’s first assignment as bowling head would be a two-match Test series against New Zealand that will start from November 17.
It is pertinent to mention here that Azhar Mahmood had also served duties as bowling coach for Asia Cup and Twenty20 whereas he had also guided the team in England tour.
Pakistan team head coach Mickey Arthur had also suggested some names but due to the unavailability and demand of high salaries, Azhar Mahmood was decided to be retained.
