LAHORE (Dunya News / AFP) – Star player Khalid Latif was ruled out of one-day international squad for West Indies series due to poor fitness.

Sources told that the 30-year-old player can participate in Twenty20 but with the current health situation, he would not be able to perform satisfactory in ODI.

Earlier, Khalid Latif remained not out on 34 runs off 32 balls in first T20 against West Indies but in second T20, the player was run out on 40 runs due to severe issues in running after which the selectors dropped his name.

He also smashed England’s bowlers all round Old Trafford as Pakistan ended their tour in style with a crushing nine-wicket win lone Twenty20 international.

Opener Latif 59 not out as Pakistan, set just 136 to win, finished on 139 for one with 31 balls to spare to the delight of thousands of their fans at a packed Old Trafford.
