Pakistani team observes 1 minute silence in memory of Edhi

Summary Entire team, management saddened over Edhi's death, says PCB Chairman

LONDON (Dunya News) – Pakistani cricket team on Saturday paid respect to late philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi by observing one minute’s silence prior to the start of the second day of the tour match against Sussex, reported Dunya News.

The players shall appear in the 3-day match taking place at Hove while wearing black armbands.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan condoled over Edhi’s death and stated that the philanthropist was paralleled to no one else as the lives of millions became easy because of him, adding that the entire team and the management was struck with grief over his death.

Men in Green shall appear in the series against England while wearing shirts having logo of the Edhi foundation on them.
