Summary Balochistan, despite their efforts, failed to chase the target and lost the match by 74 runs.

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sunday comprehensively beat Balochistan by 74 runs in the 6th match of the Pakistan Cup series being played at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, reported Dunya News. KP had set a total of 247 runs for Balochistan earlier.

KP skipper Ahmed Shehzad won the toss and elected to bat first against Balochistan, led by Azhar Ali. The team’s start was rather disappointing as Fakhar Zaman and Rameez Aziz were dismissed for 5 and 10 runs respectively.

Shehzad and Zohaib Khan batted together for 75 runs, as the skipper scored 79 runs whereas Khan was dismissed for 82 runs. KP finished their innings with 246 runs on the board whilst losing 8 wickets. Balochistan, despite their efforts, failed to chase down the target and lost the match by 74 runs.

Umar Gul, Sohail Tanvir and Bilawal Bhatti took two wickets each.
