BANGALORE, (AFP) - Australia won the toss and elected to field first against Bangladesh in their World Twenty20 match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Monday.

Australia are determined to demolish the underdogs to secure their first points in the group stage and get their bid for a first World T20 trophy back on track.

Australia have replaced spinner Ashton Agar with allrounder John Hastings.

Skipper Steve Smith s side lost a thriller to New Zealand in their first group match last week.

Bangladesh, demolished by Pakistan in their first group match, are reeling after two of their top bowlers were suspended for illegal actions.
