Summary Pitch being rolled, covers being taken off

KOLKATA (Web Desk) - The start of the clash between the archrivals India and Pakistan at Kolkata s Eden Gardens cricket stadium is being delayed because of a wet outfield, reported Dunya News.

Earlier, heavy rain was recorded in Kolkata which affected the outfield of the ground however according to latest reports, covers are being removed the pitch is being rolled.

Cricketing legends from both sides were given a warm-welcome in the stadium. Chief Minister (CM) West Bengal Mamta Benergee presented shawls to Imran Khan, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram from Pakistan and to Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar and Virender Sehwag from India. Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachan was also in the ground.
