Summary Pakistani High Commissioner in India Abdul Basit also denied visit the stadium for the match
NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – Indian government on Tuesday announced that it has denied access to Eden Garden cricket stadium in Kolkata to the staff of the Pakistani High Commission for watching the match between India and Pakistan on March 19, reported Dunya News.
Pakistani High Commissioner Abdul Basit has also been denied to visit the stadium to watch the much anticipated clash of the archrivals.
Indian and Pakistani cricket teams will be confronting each other in the group stage match of the ICC World T20 2016 on March 19 in Kolkata. Previously, the match venue was shifted from Dharamsala to Kolkata on the basis of security concerns.
