SOUTHAMPTON (AFP) - England, after winning the toss, declared their first innings on 569 for seven on the second day of the third Test against India at Southampton on Monday.

Test debutant Jos Buttler was last man out for 85, scored at better than a run-a-ball, after Ian Bell made 167 -- his first hundred in 20 Test innings -- and Gary Ballance a Test-best 156.

India lead the five-match series 1-0.
