Summary Iqbal Qasim has said that Yousuf would have to play domestic cricket to be considered for selection.
Talking to media during trials for the Under-19 team at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, chief selector Iqbal Qasim made it clear that the new talent will be given priority keeping in view the future assignments of Pakistan cricket team.Talking about star batsman Mohammad Yousuf return to international cricket, Iqbal Qasim said the Yousuf and all other senior players would have to play domestic matches to be considered for selection.Meanwhile, the chief selector also brushed aside rumours of his conflict with the newly-appointed head coach of Pakistan Dav Whatmore on selection matters.The chief selector also witnessed the trials for the Under-19 team. At least 75 players are participating in the trials for selection of Pakistan Under-19 team to participate in the U-19 World Camp which will commence from May 5.
