PM approves export of precious stones

Pakistan has capacity to export precious stones worth $5.5 billion during next five years.A special meeting chaired by the PM reviewed policy pertaining to export of costly stones. The Prime Minister appreciated the Gems and Jewelly Development Company’s strategy and approved export policy.In this regard, a committee led by the Finance Ministry has been formed which would submit summary in the Economic Contact Committee. The body comprises Secretary for Trade, Secretary for Production Division and Chairman FBR.The Prime Minister has also directed to remove all hurdles in this way.
