Summary Adviser to PM on Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh said IMF would be returned $ 1.20 billion till June.
Economy of the country is sound and solid; the IMF may be contacted in the hour of trial, he said.The finance advisor, while briefing in Islamabad, said that the first instalment amounting $417million would be paid to the IMF on Friday (today) while the second and third instalments would be paid successively in May and June.He said that the poor class would be subsidised in the budget.He said that hike in the price of petroleum products is upsetting and nerve-racking but this issue should not be politicised.
