The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), the premium business association of Pakistan is to hold the first single country exhibition in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo in April 2012.The Made in Pakistan Products Exhibition 2012 will be held at the BMICH in Colombo from April 26 - May 01, 2012.RCCI President Javed Akhtar Bhatti has said that holding a single country exhibition in Sri Lanka would be beneficial to the Pakistan business community.Sri Lanka is the country with above 95 percent literacy rate, no confusion of language exists between Pakistani and Sri Lankan population. It would be a beneficial step for the business community and the country, Bhatti has said at a ceremony held to launch the program Friday.Among the products displayed in the exhibition will be Jewellery, office equipment, sports equipment, fashion and fabrics, petroleum products, leather goods, pharmaceuticals, handicrafts, construction and building materials, electrical appliances, furniture and housewares, etc.The 4000-member RCCI is committed to hold 10 single country expos in year 2012 in the South Asian countries.
