Summary Revised rates take effect from midnight after OGRA recommendation
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The federal government has announced revised prices for petroleum products, offering motorists a marginal reduction in petrol prices while significantly increasing the rate of high-speed diesel.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs0.35 per litre, bringing the new retail price down to Rs315.80 per litre.
In contrast, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs5.71 per litre. Following the latest revision, the new retail price of high-speed diesel stands at Rs360.06 per litre.
The revised prices reflect the latest recommendations made by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), which periodically reviews petroleum prices based on international market trends and other relevant pricing factors.
The Petroleum Division said the updated petrol and diesel prices will come into effect from 12am and will remain applicable until the next scheduled price revision.
